Rules

​

• Only fish caught at Lafreniere Park are allowed to be weighed-in.

• Only fish caught during the event hours are allowed to be weighed-in.

• The fisherman must be registered before catching the fish, for the fish be allowed to be weighed-in.

• All participants who weigh-in fish are to present their rodeo wristband to the weigh-master before any fish are weighed (no exceptions).

• All winning fish will be determined by weight.

• Only weights indicated on the "Rodeo Scale" will be accepted.

• In the event of a tie, the fish that is weighed first shall be declared

• the winner.

• The participant on whose behalf the fish is weighed must catch the

• fish.

• The weigh-master or assistant weigh-master must weigh all fish entered on the "Rodeo Scale" until 3:00 PM weigh-in, NO EXCEPTIONS.

• All fish entered shall be weighed only once, unless in the determination of the weigh-master, a second weighing is necessary for an accurate weight.

• No transfer of fish by participants is allowed.

• No frozen or altered fish will be eligible for entry.

• Only one fish per species per angler is allow to be on the leaderboard. (Example: An angler cannot have two catfish on the leaderboard.  However, the same angler can be on the leaderboard with one catfish, one bass, etc.)

• Weigh-master or assistant weigh-master's word is FINAL.
